• Ground Segment Security (NISTIR 8401): segmentation for MCC/MCS/EGSE; Zero Trust IAM (MFA/RBAC/PAM); secure remote ops (jump hosts/VPN); MCS hardening; telemetry/logging/SIEM for traceability and forensics; secure reference architectures for hybrid/cloud ground stations.
• Space Link & Protocol Security: TM/TC/AOS basics; risk points on uplink/downlink; CCSDS SDLS controls (auth/integrity/confidentiality, anti‑replay); key & crypto management for TT&C and payload flows; resilience against spoofing/jamming; link‑layer anomaly detection.
• Secure Software & DevSecOps (Flight & Ground): SBOM/SCA and vulnerability management; secure coding in C/C++/Rust; fuzzing; supply chain security (signing, SLSA provenance, artifact immutability); OTA/patching with safe rollback; align with ECSS E‑ST‑40C / Q‑ST‑80C.
• Governance, Compliance & Incident Response: operator ISMS and audits (ISO 27001); NIST CSF adoption; US RMF with NIST SP 800‑53/CNSSI 1253; EU NIS2 obligations and reporting; SATCOM incident playbooks; lessons learned from advisories and real incidents.
