Space for Business – Next Giant Leap
The Space Business is rapidly emerging as a global powerhouse, engaging individuals, industries, and space agencies alike. Current estimates from PwC indicate that the global space industry, valued at approximately $530 billion, could exceed $2 trillion by 2045. With more than 14,000 companies and around 8,000 investors involved, venture capital investments in space technology have soared to $9 billion.
Recognized by the G20 as an essential area for economic development. According to a report from McKinsey, the rise of “New Space” startups—working in tandem with established space agencies and visionary entrepreneurs—is revolutionizing traditional business models. This rapid evolution has led to the emergence of over 1,000 new startups in recent years. As the industry continues to mature, it stands to significantly impact global economic dynamics and technological progress.
